Blizzard Travel to Richmond to Face the Hottest Team in the League

Green Bay, WI – The Green Bay Blizzard (7-3) travel to Richmond, VA to take on one of the hottest teams in the IFL, and the team that currently has the best record at 10-1. The Richmond Revolution (10-1) will host the Blizzard in a pivotal game with playoff seedings on the line.

The Blizzard are coming off two very tough losses to the Chicago Slaughter. Both games ended with last second scored by Chicago and Green Bay losing two games by a combined four points. The loss puts Green Bay three games ahead of both Bloomington and Chicago. The championship game will be hosted by the conference champion with the best record.  In the United Conference, the Blizzard are currently the #3 seed in the conference behind Richmond VA and Sioux Falls SD.  The rest of the conference right now is #4 Rochester NY (7-4), #5 Wichita KS (8-3), #6 Omaha NE (6-4), #7 Bloomington IL (6-5) and the #8 seed is Chicago (5-5).

The Blizzard will return home June 5th to take on the Wichita Wild and start its three game home stand. The pivotal home stand will feature three very strong teams, Wichita, West Michigan, and Chicago. The Blizzard will look to continue its home field dominance and carry momentum into the playoffs starting the last weekend in June.

Green Bay travels to Richmond next week to face the 10-1 Revolution.  The Blizzard return home to Online Trading Academy Field on June 5th to take on the Wichita Wild at 7:05pm.
