The Blizzard held their annual open tryout on October 28th this year and had nearly 50 athletes attend hoping for a spot on the Green Bay Blizzard roster. The attendees ran traditional NFL combine drills such as the 40-yard dash and the pro “L” Drill. Then they moved on to drills testing skills such as route running, throwing, kicking, and more. Also in attendance watching the event were the Blizzard coaching staff, the team owners, and team season ticket holders. Coach Chris Williams said after the event “I’m really impressed with the amount of talent that was shown here today. Some guys traveled along way for this, and you have to admire that determination.” All in all, the tryout was a great event, and is just the beginning to a great season for Green Bay Blizzard Football.
