The Green Bay Blizzard are announcing their partnership with AthELITE, a top recruiting and scouting agency, to help the team bring in top tier players.
AthELITE is currently partnered with 3 CIF teams and one IFL team, the Iowa Barnstormers, and are excited for their partnership with the Blizzard.
Zach Hibdon, the Owner and Director of Scouting for AthELITE, is looking forward to helping the team grow. He said, “Green Bay is a team that shows great potential and is really only missing a few things to help tie this team together”.
Hibdon has already helped sign two players for the Blizzard in Akim Francis and Bryan Hicks, and looks forwards to helping more young talent, like Akim, to sign their first professional contracts.
“I had the pleasure of training Akim a little and helping him sign his first pro contract with the Blizzard,” said Hibdon.
Along with Akim, AthELITE works hard to continue to find the right kind of players for all of their teams.
“Recruiting a player really takes more work than just watching his film,” said Hibdon, “One of the more important aspects at this level is if the player is a good teammate and is coachable.”
AthELITE goal is to make the Indoor Football League as competitive of a product as they can and that takes a lot of hard work.
“The work of a scout never ends, there is no offseason for scouting. During the season we are always looking for the players to come in and compete to earn a starting job,” said Hibdon.
AthELITE even holds tryouts for their players to show their skills with the teams they are partnered with, which will now be the Blizzard. Hibdon said, “During the offseason, AthELITE Scouting holds tryouts to allow players the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of the teams we are partnered with.”
AthELITE is a scouting agency that helps teams find players and players find teams, and the Blizzard are excited to take part in this goal!
