Ferdinand, at 6’2” and 215 pounds, is an intriguing, versatile hybrid because of his ability to both tackle and cover. Ferdinand thrived at Mars Hill as a senior, playing 10 games at both safety and linebacker, he made 70 tackles, had three sacks, picked off two passes and forced a fumble.
After his final game at Mars Hill, Ferdinand excelled in the National Bowl All-Star Game in Daytona, making six tackles and picking off a pass.
