Quarterback Lenorris Footman stepped up and delivered late game heroics in Week 2 and helped the Green Bay Blizzard (1-1) earn their first win of the season 53-52 over the Nebraska Danger. With just 25 seconds remaining in the game, Footman rushed for his fifth touchdown of the night giving the Blizzard the slight lead late in the game. The Blizzard’s defense later held the Danger from scoring, sealing the victory. Footman’s five touchdowns tied the team’s all-time record for a single game (Laron Council, 2012, Nate Wara,2014). Footman finished the game with 77 rushing yards and was also 11-19 with 104 yards passing.
