June 25th, 2021| The Green Bay Blizzard hosted the Iowa Barnstormers on friday in an exciting game from start to finish. Iowa started the game's scoring in the tenth minute with Carrin Thompson catching a 17 yard pass from Daquan Neal. Green Bay was able to answer back just four minutes later when Brook Bolles, quarterback for the Blizzard, ran the ball 1 yard to tie up the game at seven each. The Blizzard was able to pull ahead off of an interception by Momodou Mbye, who was able to run the ball back for a touchdown, however they were not able to get the extra point. Which gave Iowa the chance to take the lead back with just five seconds left in the first quarter when Daquan Neal ran the ball in three yards for a touchdown.

In the second quarter Green Bay started a scoring train when Keshaun Taylor caught a 32 yard pass from Brook Bolles. Brook Bolles wasn't done yet with the quarterback running the ball 9 yards to score his second touchdown of the night. With six minutes left in the first half Iowa continued to put pressure on Green Bay's lead with Carrin Thompson scoring his second touchdown for the Barnstormers. Green Bay's Keshaun Taylor quickly answered back with his second touchdown of the night, extending Green Bay's lead once again. With one last drive in the half Iowa was able to bring the score 34 to 28 at half, Green Bay in the lead.

The third quarter was quiet on both ends with Iowa's Gabriel Rui being the only one to score. The Final quarter was one that once again came down to the final seconds of the game. Green Bay's new kicker Jeff Budzein was able to put up two field goals, and Kerrion Moore scoring a touchdown gave the Blizzard room to breath. However with thirteen seconds left in the game Elad Covaliu scored a touchdown for Iowa bringing them within four points of the Blizzard. Iowa was also able to recover a fumble with just seconds left giving them one last chance to take the lead. Green Bay's defense was able to hold them leaving the final score 48-44 Blizzard on top.
