BLIZZARD SIGN (QB) MAX MEYLOR AND (DL) CECE JEFFERSON

Green Bay, WI - The Green Bay Blizzard have officially signed quarterback Max Meylor and defensive lineman Cece Jefferson for the 2023 season.

Max Meylor: (quarterback) A native of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, Meylor started his collegiate career at Division II Lindenwood University in Missouri before transferring to UW-Whitewater. As a Warhawk, Meylor led his team to the Division III National Championship game in 2019, and the semifinals of the Division III NCAA Playoffs in 2021. During his senior campaign, he threw for over 3100 yards and scored 41 total touchdowns (36 passing, four rushing, one receiving) en route to being named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Offensive Player of the Year. He was also a finalist for the Gagliardi Trophy, the award presented to the most outstanding football player in NCAA Division III.

Carl "CeCe" Jefferson: (defensive lineman) Hailing from Glen St. Mary, Florida, Jefferson was a five-star recruit who played SEC football for the Gators at the University of Florida. Through 48 career games, he notched 124 tackles, 34.5 TFLs, 10.5 sacks, four pass deflections, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. Jefferson earned a mini-camp tryout with the Seattle Seahawks, and also signed with the XFL's Tampa Bay Vipers in 2020 prior to the season's cancellation.
