These two teams are familiar with each other, as they faced off less than two weeks ago during Week 8 in Moline, Illinois. Quad City emerged victorious, 49-31. Green Bay was penalized 14 times and ran for only 10 net yards against the Steamwheelers.

The Blizzard enter this match-up coming off of a huge road victory over the Bismarck Bucks in Week 9. Green Bay snapped their six-game losing streak to the Bucks in dominating fashion, winning 55-14.

Quarterback Jack Sheehan put on a clinic in Bismarck, throwing for 232 yards and seven touchdowns. He also added one rushing touchdown. Keshaun Taylor caught four of Sheehan's touchdowns and led the Blizzard with 141 receiving yards. Steven Newbold was the recipient of Sheehan's other three TD passes.

The Blizzard defense was solid all night, giving up only 91 total yards. In addition, they recorded six turnovers and two sacks. Defensive back Momodou Mbye led the team with seven tackles, five pass breakups, and one interception.

Quad City will look to get back in the win column against Green Bay after losing to the Iowa Barnstormers on the road in Week 9, 47-63.

Friday's game is Superhero Night at the Resch Center. Fans are encouraged to participate in a costume contest, dressing up as either a favorite hero or villain. Prizes courtesy of Marcus Theaters and Gnome Games will be awarded to winners. It is also Mighty Miller Night, with $3 Miller Lites.
