The Green Bay Blizzard will look for their first win of the 2023 season on Friday, March 31st when the Iowa Barnstormers come to the Resch Center. Kickoff is set for 6:05 p.m.

The Blizzard (0-2) are coming off a tough road loss at the hands of the Massachusetts Pirates, 41-55. Green Bay's offense found some rhythm against Massachusetts in the second half, outscoring the Pirates 34-24 after the break. QB Ja'rome Johnson threw for three touchdowns and added two more on the ground. WR Shaq Curenton found himself in the endzone twice, catching two of Johnson's touchdown passes. 

Iowa Head Coach and former Blizzard Offensive Coordinator Dave Moegeson will lead his team into Green Bay looking for their first win of the new season. The Barnstormers (0-1) dropped their first contest of 2023 on the road against the Las Vegas Knighthawks, 44-57. 

Green Bay's young defense will look to put the pieces together against Iowa after showing flashes of promise in their first two games. Quarterback Darius James-Peterson will be under center for the Barnstormers for a second season, giving Green Bay some familiarity with their opponent at the QB position.
