The Green Bay Blizzard will look to start a win streak when they travel to Sioux Falls, SD to take on the Sioux Falls Storm on Sunday, April 16 at 5:05 PM.
Green Bay (1-2) is coming off of a Week 4 bye. The Blizzard notched their first win of the season in Week 3, dropping the Iowa Barnstormers, 44-25.
Sioux Falls (1-1) also enters the matchup following a dominating win over Iowa. The Storm took down the Barnstormers, 54-24, for their first win of the season last week.
After a disappointing start to the 2023 campaign, Green Bay found a rhythm against the Barnstormers, and will look to build off of that moving forward.
Quarterback
Ja'rome Johnson scored 5 touchdowns against Iowa, 2 through the air and 3 on the ground. Johnson has thrown the second most pass yards in the IFL this season.
On the defensive side of the ball, several Blizzard players enter this week's matchup as IFL stat leaders. Defensive lineman
Anthony Hayes currently leads the league in tackles for loss, and defensive back Jakoby Pappillion is tied for first in total tackles.
The Blizzard will face a trio of former players from last year's roster now playing for Sioux Falls in linebacker
James Brown, kicker
Nick Jaworski, and defensive lineman
Kyree Campbell.
