GAME PREVIEW: GREEN BAY VS SAN DIEGO

The Green Bay Blizzard will look to snap their losing streak when the San Diego Strike Force come to town on Saturday, May 13th. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:05 p.m.

The non-conference matchup will be only the second time ever the two teams have faced off. Green Bay won the first matchup in 2019, 52-45, on the road in San Diego.

Both teams enter the game with a 2-4 record, in need of ending the first half of the season strong to stay alive in their conference playoff races. Two fairly similar teams stats wise, San Diego was ranked ninth in the most recent IFL Coaches Poll, while Green Bay was ranked tenth. 

The Blizzard are coming off of a heartbreaking 1-point overtime loss at home against the Massachusetts Pirates in week 8. The Strike Force also enter the contest coming off of a tight loss, losing to the Bay Area Panthers by 3.

The Blizzard defense will look to lock in against the Strike Force. Green Bay's D has given up the second most points per game in the league, but will face a San Diego offense who has struggled to score at times this season, putting up only 9 points in their week 5 game. 

Saturday is Faith and Family Day at the Resch Center. Fans will be treated to a post-game concert featuring Christian pop artist Micah Tyler following the conclusion of the game. $2 hot dogs and $2 sodas will be available for purchase. To join in on the fun, purchase tickets HERE!
