The Green Bay Blizzard have officially signed DB Lakevias Daniel for the 2024 season.

Lakevias Daniel (6' 180) is a Mississippi product. His hometown is Louisville, Mississippi, and he spent time playing collegiate football for Ole Miss before playing for Southern Miss. 

Daniel played 12 games in 2021 and 13 games in 2022 for Southern Miss. In 2021, he racked up 35 tackles (22 solo). He also contributed to special teams. Daniel was part of the Golden Eagles team that won the LendingTree Bowl in 2022. As a high-energy and dependable player, Daniel will look to contribute immediately to the Blizzard. He will face a challenge as he joins the league midseason as an IFL rookie just before the Blizzard face the first-seeded Frisco Fighters.

Fans can help welcome Daniel to the team when the Green Bay Blizzard take on the Frisco Fighters at the Resch Center on May 18 at 3:05 PM. Then, stick around after the game to hear a live performance from musical artist Terrian.
