Biography

Rafiq Abdul-Wahid joined the Blizzard during the 2022 season and is entering his third year in the Indoor Football League. He has shown himself to be an important piece of the defensive line and has even filled in on the offensive line at times. In 2024, Abdul-Wahid appeared in 18 games recording 37 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks (led the IFL), one pass break up, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two blocked kicks, and two safeties. That season he was selected for the Second Team All-IFL DL!
