The Blizzard offense is led for the third straight year by Coach Matt Behrendt.
Behrendt made his return to Green Bay in a coaching capacity after leading the team as a Quarterback in 2016 and 2017, having earned Week 15 IFL Offensive Player of the Week honors in 2016.
Behrendt knows the ins and outs of the IFL game, having made stops in Colorado, Green Bay, Arizona and Tucson between 2015 and 2019, picking up Week 3 IFL Offensive Player of the Week honors while with the Sugar Skulls in 2019.
Coach Behrendt had a decorated collegiate career at UW-Whitewater, where he led the Warhawks to the 2013 and 2014 NCAA Division III National Championships. In addition, he garnered 2nd Team d3football.com All-American, 1st Team d3football.com All-West Region, WIAC Offensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All-WIAC and 2nd Team All-WIAC honors.
This success earned him tryouts with the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers in 2015. Behrendt is a native of Westcehster, IL, just west of Chicago and is a graduate of Nazareth Academy.
