Green Bay Blizzard

Coach Bonner is excited and grateful for the opportunity to return to Green Bay after his first stint with the team during the 2015 season. He will enter his eleventh season overall as a coach. 

Bonner returns to coaching after being named the head coach two days before training camp for the Omaha Beef during the 2018 season. The Omaha Beef finished the season with 2,728 yards of total offense. Prior to that he held the offensive coordinator position for the Salina Liberty in the 2017 season before the ownership promoted him to head coach during the middle of the season. Coach Bonner played wide receiver for the Iowa Blackhawks, Missouri Minutemen, and Kansas Koyotes of the APFL. Mike Bonner was part of the staff of the United Football League Game Day Operations with Omaha Knighthawks during their inaugural season in 2010.
 

Coach Bonner coaches with passion and good energy and loves to compete. He has a team first mentality and believes in team and individual discipline. Mike Bonner is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. He now resides in Charlotte, NC where he is a Flight Attendant for American Airlines subsidiary Piedmont Airlines. He has four kids: Aniyah, Isaiah, Amari, and Parker.
