Green Bay Blizzard

Deldrick Canty is entering his fifth year with the Green Bay Blizzard. A Baton Rouge native, Canty stayed in his home state to compete collegiately for Louisiana Tech University, where he earned a degree in Sociology and numerous honors as a Bulldog. He joined the Blizzard at the end of the 2018 season and has been a solid presence on the defensive line ever since. In 2022, Canty notched 28 tackles, 10 TFLs, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery on his way to being named the Blizzard’s Lineman of the Year. 

• Deldrick loves to travel, cook, and sleep.
• He has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and was the first person in his family to graduate from college.
• Deldrick is involved with a program called “100 Black Men” which aims to help kids in the community become the best people they can be.
• After his football career ends, Deldrick plans to become a law enforcer in Texas.
